Parking on the Strip Without Going Broke

(Todd — this is a starter post. Edit it, fix anything that's changed, and make it yours.)

Parking fees on the Strip change constantly, but the game stays the same: casinos want you inside, and a few still use free or cheap parking as the bait.

The general rules:

  1. Off-Strip casinos are your friend. Places that cater to locals almost always have free self-parking.
  2. Check if your players card gets you free parking. Signing up is free and takes five minutes at the casino desk.
  3. Rideshare from a free lot can beat paying two resorts' parking fees in one night.
  4. Never valet without checking the price first. Some are reasonable, some are highway robbery plus tip.

Todd's move: park once, in the middle of wherever you're spending the evening, and walk or take the tram. Moving your car three times in one night is the most expensive way to see Vegas.
